How we handle information
This policy explains what Artefact91 collects through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
Who we are
Artefact91 is a campaign intelligence and strategic communications practice, operating as Artefact91 USA LLC, registered in Wyoming, USA. For anything in this policy, write to hello@artefact91.com.
What we collect
Enquiries. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, organization, the category you select, your timeline and whatever you write in the message. We receive this because you chose to send it.
Site analytics. We use the analytics built into our website platform to count page views and see which pages and referrers bring people here. It is cookieless and does not identify you individually.
Tool inputs. The simulators on this site run entirely in your browser. What you enter is not transmitted to us, is not stored, and disappears when you close the page — unless you choose to send your results, in which case the summary is added to the contact form for you to review before sending.
What we do not do
We set no advertising or tracking cookies, run no advertising pixels, and do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We do not build profiles of visitors.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry and, where it leads to work, to carry out that work. To understand which parts of the site are useful. Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is your consent when you send an enquiry, and our legitimate interest in understanding site usage and running our business.
Who else sees it
Our website platform hosts the site, processes form submissions and provides the analytics described above. Our email provider carries the resulting message. Both act on our instructions. We disclose information otherwise only where the law requires it.
Where it is processed
The site and our records are hosted in the United States. If you write to us from outside the United States, your enquiry will be processed there.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while they are relevant to a live or prospective engagement and for as long as we may need them for our records, then deleted. Analytics are aggregated and hold no personal detail.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, or to withdraw consent. Write to hello@artefact91.com and we will respond. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority; in Canada, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect what we hold, including limiting who can see enquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Please do not send confidential or sensitive material through the contact form — tell us it exists and we will arrange a secure route.
Children
This site is for organizations and the people who work in them. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date below and, where the change is material, say so on the page.
